My name is Rebecca Buxton, and I am excited to share the wonderful world of The World of Honey Tree Farm, a place of imagination and inspiration that I have created. I am a passionate author, illustrator, and artist, born deaf and with autism and dyslexia, facing various challenges throughout my life. Despite these challenges, I have dedicated myself to inspiring others to believe in their ability to achieve their goals through determination and perseverance. I encourage individuals to embrace their authentic selves and be open to new experiences.
Â
In my blog, I showcase my children's and teen books, part of a series of 24 books, each depicting different wildlife experiences at Honey Tree Farm. These books are deeply rooted in real-life concepts, such as rescue centres, and focus on promoting well-being through activities like yoga, mindfulness, and understanding behaviour. Additionally, I share engaging puzzles, crafts, recipes, quotes, and fascinating wildlife facts to entertain and educate my readers.
Â
One of my featured books, "Prickelus Gets Caught," sheds light on the well-being of hedgehogs and addresses how to cope with stress, using the hedgehog as an example. This book is linked to the real-life Hedgepigs rescue centre, run by the dedicated Deborah, who works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate hedgehogs. Unfortunately, the centre is currently at total capacity, highlighting the vulnerability of hedgehogs to human activities. The book aims to raise awareness about hedgehog issues and offers guidance on how to help these spiky creatures achieve a brighter future. "Prickelus Gets Caught" is available online on platforms like Amazon, Waterstones, W.H. Smith, Blackwells, from my online shop, Arkbound publishers, and more.

I am excited to tell you I am currently looking for an agent for my next book, The Perils of Blossom and Basil, about honey bees and the importance of maintaining a positive mindset. This upcoming book will feature a real-life master beekeeper and explore the critical role of bees in our ecosystem. Furthermore, it will provide insights into the significance of preserving these vital pollinators for the future. There are stories, facts, puzzles, activities, recipes and more. I also plan for a further 24 books, all under "The World of Honey Tree Farm" collection. Colouring books are the next step, and I have one ready to be published featuring characters from Honey Tree Farm.
Not only do I write books, but I also have a passion for visiting schools to share my stories and discuss important topics. During my school visits, I enjoy teaching students animal signs in British Sign Language (BSL), promoting inclusivity and understanding. My wonderful hearing dog, Reba, accompanies me on these visits, bringing the students joy and valuable learning opportunities.
Â
Moreover, I have established The World of Honey Tree Farm shop, where, in addition to my books, you can find unique handmade artistic pieces inspired by the characters in my books. These include cards, sculptures, original artwork, bee-themed cushions, hats, scarves, and many more products.
Â
I aim to share my experiences and passions through my blog, including my love for nature, artistic expression, promoting well-being, and advocating for eco-friendly living. By sharing inspirational stories, I hope to showcase the potential of people with disabilities and mental health challenges. Encouraging others with disabilities to embrace new experiences and pursue their dreams is a fundamental goal of mine.
Â
I look forward to sharing even more about The World of Honey Tree Farm with you in my future blogs, and I sincerely hope that my stories inspire you with fresh and diverse ideas. Your feedback and inspiration are always welcomed!
