Hearing Dog
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the hearing dog charity for providing me with an incredible companion named Reba. She is a cockapoo, and her purpose is to alert me to essential sounds, such as the doorbell ringing, the cooker alarm and the phone text alert. When she detects these sounds, she gently nudges me, ensuring I stay connected to the world around me.

In the event of a fire alarm, she instinctively lies on the floor, offering a vital warning. For the alarm clock in the morning, she leaps onto the bed and lays on my chest, rousing me with her loving presence.

Reba has done so much by supporting me. Especially when on my own, she helps me to be safe and aware of dangers. She gives me the confidence to talk to people and to go places. She is truly remarkable.
